Fair Use Policy – Document Uploads & Storage

1. Purpose

This Fair Use Policy applies to all paid subscription plans and is intended to ensure the platform remains reliable, secure, and cost-effective for all customers. It establishes reasonable limits on document uploads and storage usage while allowing normal business use.

2. Included Usage Allowance

Each paid subscription plan includes a fair use allowance of:

• Up to 10,000 documents per account.
• Documents are assumed to average approximately 10 pages per document.
• This equates to a typical usage level of up to 100,000 stored pages.

A document is defined as any individual file uploaded to the platform, regardless of file type or size.

3. Exceeding Fair Use Limits

If an account approaches or exceeds the fair use allowance, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Notify the account holder that usage is nearing or has exceeded the limit.
• Temporarily restrict further uploads until usage is reduced.
• Request deletion, consolidation, or archiving of older or unused documents.
• Offer an upgraded plan or a custom storage arrangement.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice before applying any restrictions.

4. Excessive or Non-Standard Use

The following activities may be considered outside fair use:

• Uploading documents in volumes that significantly exceed normal business requirements.
• Automated, scripted, or bulk uploads designed to bypass usage limits.
• Storing large volumes of duplicate, test, or non-essential files.
• Using the service primarily as a general-purpose document archive or backup system without prior agreement.

Such usage may result in account restrictions or require a revised subscription arrangement.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

• Managing their document storage within the fair use allowance.
• Periodically reviewing and removing documents that are no longer required.
• Ensuring uploads comply with applicable laws and our Terms of Service.

6. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update this Fair Use Policy from time to time to reflect operational, technical, or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated via the website or directly to account holders where appropriate.
